THE PROCESS / HOW IT WORKS
1 / GETTING YOU SET UP
The first step is for you to fill out the contact form below to let me know you're interested in working together! From there, I'll reach out and we'll discuss the details of your project to ensure we're a fit and get you scheduled in. Next, I'll send over a welcome packet so you can get a good idea of how things will go - you'll find all the details you need such as pricing, timeline, milestones, and more. Once the contract is signed by both parties and the deposit is paid, the real work begins!
2 / LEARNING ALL ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS
As the start date approaches for your project, I'll send you a survey to fill out, so I can learn as much as possible about your business and your goals for your new site. I also generally invite my clients to a joint Pinterest board, so you can pin things that inspire you, and I can get a good idea of how you see your brand. If you'd rather just send over images, that's fine too!
3 / STARTING WITH A MOOD BOARD
Once I've received your survey back, as well as inspiration site and images, I'll put together a mood board for your website. This will include fonts, colors and inspiration images, so we can make sure we're on the same page with the look and feel. If you have existing branding, I will also ask that you send over that as well, so I can incorporate it into your design.
4 / GETTING TO THE DESIGN
After you've signed off on your mood board, I'll get to the actual design. I'll create the site in my Wix account and then transfer it over to you when I've finished. Around this time, you'll have to create a Wix account, sign up for a yearly plan, and purchase a domain if you haven't already done those things.
5 / MAKING YOUR SITE PERFECT FOR LAUNCH
I include two rounds of edits with every project I do - so once I send you a draft, you can go through and let me know things you'd like to change and then we'll do that all over again once more. We we're ready to go, I'll transfer the site over to you, fix up your mobile site (I always so that last), and we'll be ready for launch!
